Carolina Connections Cove

We bought this for our calm-down corner and the semi-enclosed design instantly makes the kids feel safe, yet I can still see them. The seat cushion is just thick enough for a kindergartner to sit comfortably for five minutes without fidgeting.

The curved walls make such a difference in giving my students a quiet spot to decompress, the semi-enclosed design really does create a sense of belonging. My kindergartners love curling up in it during reading time.

The curved design does create a nice nook for quiet time, but the padding on the seating area feels a bit thin for longer sits. It works okay as a small reading spot for one kid, though I wish the base was a little more stable.
