The little sliding grids are sturdier than I expected for the price, and my 8-year-old caught on to the hit-and-miss tracking in one round. We’ve already broken out the two portable cases for a car trip, and the memory challenge keeps both of us sharp.

We’ve played this three nights in a row now, and even my 8-year-old stays focused the whole time calling out coordinates. The portable cases make it easy to take to the kitchen table or pack for a car ride, and I like that it’s helping with her memory as we go.

The grid is sturdy and the pegs click in place satisfyingly, which makes tracking hits and misses a breeze even for my 8-year-old. We've been using the portable cases on car trips and they hold up well. It really does sharpen your memory when you're trying to remember where you already fired.
