CVC Word Building Cards

The picture clues really help my son sound out the words, and the laminated cards have held up perfectly to all his little hands. He figures out the three-letter words faster than I expected with the color cues guiding him.

The cards are sturdy and the color-coded clues make it easy for my daughter to figure out which cube goes where, even when she's just starting out. Only wish the box were a bit bigger to store the cubes alongside, but the learning value is solid.

The pictures are nice and clear, but I wish the cards had a bit more variety in the middle vowel sounds. My preschooler gets bored after just a few cards because most of them feel similar.
