The instructional guide alone is worth it—my kids set up a working flagpole in the yard using the triple sheave and joining pin, and they actually understood the mechanical advantage by the end. The double pulley felt sturdy enough for repeated classroom-style experiments without any wobble.

The double and triple sheave pulleys let my kids really experiment with mechanical advantage, not just lift things. We spent a whole afternoon seeing how much less force was needed with more pulleys in the system.

My third graders had a blast figuring out how the double and triple sheave pulleys could lift a small bucket with half the effort. The instructional guide made it easy to set up experiments, and the joining pin let us combine the pulleys in different ways. Definitely one of the more engaging STEM ki
