The double-sided design is a lifesaver—we use the numbered side for counting practice and flip it over for pattern-making with the plain grid. My daughter actually asked to do math homework, which has never happened before.

My first grader loves sliding the number tiles into the recessed squares—it keeps them from sliding around on the table. The blank grid on the back is perfect for practicing skip counting with colored counters.

The recessed squares keep the number tiles from sliding around, which is nice for small hands. I just wish the plain grid on the back had a few more visual guides for graphing, but it's still a solid tool for daily counting practice.
