My kindergartner loves loading the little weights onto each side to see which one tips down. It's simple enough for her to use on her own, and I like that it's teaching her about comparing mass without any screens involved.

The two-piece molded plastic is sturdy enough for my four-year-old to handle on her own, and I love that it comes with ten weights so she can start exploring heavier and lighter right away. She's already asking to weigh her toys, which feels like a win for a cheap science toy.

Our six-year-old loves using the see-saw balance to compare which of her toys is heavier. The two-piece plastic construction feels sturdy enough for her to play with without me worrying. The included weights make it easy to start experimenting right away.
