My one-year-old figured out how to connect the track pieces in about ten minutes, and the chunky wooden trains are perfect for his little grip. It’s been a month of daily play and not a single splinter or loose part yet.

The track pieces click together firmly enough that my toddler can connect them without frustration, yet they come apart easily when I need to reconfigure the layout. I love how the wooden engine glides smoothly over the joints, and the simple oval is perfect for his first attempts at pushing a train

My 18-month-old figured out how to click the magnetic cars together on day one, which surprised me since she usually just bangs toys on the floor. The pieces are big enough that I don't have to hover over her while she plays.
